    Confidentiality commitment

    Compare undertakes, with the limitations set out below, to treat the applicant's support application confidentially. This confidentiality commitment does not cover information that (i) was or becomes public knowledge, (ii) Compare or any of its employees or contractors knew before Compare received the information from the applicant, (iii) Compare is required to disclose according to law, regulation , court or other authority's decision, (iv) Compare discloses to safeguard Compare's rights and interests, or (v) Compare finds it necessary to disclose to the applicant's potential partners in order to evaluate and assess the conditions for granting the applicant support.

    Compare only discloses information to potential collaboration partners according to (v) above if such party undertakes to observe confidentiality regarding received information and undertakes not to utilize or make use of the information if such party does not establish a collaboration with the applicant.

    The applicant understands that the applicant's application will be processed by the Information Council for DigitalWell, which i.a. consists of members from academia and public bodies. This means that the members and the information they may come across may be subject to special regulations on publicity and confidentiality.

    Processing of personal data

    We process personal data in accordance with Stiftelsen Compare's privacy policy, which means that your personal data is processed in accordance with the law and in a secure manner. Procedures are in place to protect your personal data and safeguard your privacy. For example, we only process such personal data as we really need and are careful to delete personal data when they are no longer needed. The systems used to process personal data are continuously updated so that they are sufficiently secure, e.g. through anti-virus programs, firewalls and systems to detect personal data in various IT systems.
