    That's why DigitalWell is needed

Few SMEs participate in development projects with the public sector. This means both lost business opportunities for the companies and fewer innovative solutions for the public sector.

    We have identified important points:

There is a lack of a meeting arena where companies can develop, test and verify challenge-driven innovation, together with research and the public sector.

There is a lack of effective structures and processes for joint development work.

The traditional way of procuring and introducing new technology is perceived as a limitation to innovation, both by the public sector and the companies.

New digital services too often fail because they have not been developed with systematic user/citizen involvement.

New digital services have often failed to combine ease of use with data security.

Common with a lack of interoperability (partly in terms of working together with existing IT systems, but also in intersections between professional groups or collaboration between different actors) in the public sector environment.

There is a lack of systematic external monitoring and knowledge exchange with other regions and countries.
