    Shortlist participants 2021

    Based on received nominations, DigitalWell Arena's Core team has appointed four shortlist participants in each category. An external jury consisting of representatives from national innovation organizations in Sweden is selected to appoint winners in each category. The winners will be announced in an online event on April 15, 2021. Click on the names for a short presentation of their work. 

    Innovation ability through collaboration

    Erik Wästlund 
    Karlstad University

    Erik is the researcher who sees the possibilities of collaboration and has, in recent years, both coordinated the collaboration between DigitalWell Research's various research areas and strengthened the joint research through e.g. increased interdisciplinary dialogue.

    Ingela Agnarsson
    Region Värmland

    Ingela has contributed with great enthusiasm to Filipstad now being a Health Arena within the DigitalWell Arena. She has openly welcomed collaboration with other actors and sees health as an important part of developing a society. Without Ingela's involvement, the start of innovation in collaboration would have been much more difficult.

    Katarina Nordin Kajblad 
    Region Dalarna

    Katarina is an enthusiastic and driving force within Region Dalarna. Through her work at DigitalWell, she has become involved through, among other things, innovation cases, she has led the innovation work within the region and holds training courses in service design for Region Dalarna.

    Micaela Fristedt 
    Asylum and refugee health, 
    Region Värmland

    As a project manager, Micaela Fristedt has worked cross-border with her feet in the mix by working actively with suppliers and clinics, creating new collaborations and functional boundaries. .

    Friskvården in Värmland has an incredibly driven operation where employees around the county are actively and concretely involved in the development work. The business is open to digital aids to further include and strengthen its offer for individuals in Värmland

    Karlstad municipality

    Together with the entire administration of Care and Care, Marie challenges traditional approaches with the aim of strengthening the individual's self-efficacy and independence with the help of digital technology.

    I motivate Marie based on her commitment and effort in Livskämpar AB to digitize and spread knowledge about suicide prevention through their app Lumeno, Marie fights hard to realize her ideas and she does it with amazing drive.

    Marcus Eng is an enterprising and committed entrepreneur who wants to make a difference in the health and welfare services of the future in his profession as a physiotherapist with his innovation.

    Stefan Alfredsson 
    Karlstad University

    Stefan has deep expertise in data, data security and mobile networks, both existing and future 5G networks. With his expert knowledge, he has given great support to both the project and entrepreneurs in the development of digital services in health and welfare.

    Christian is passionate about improving the students' environment by gathering all possible forces to make this happen.

    A great collaboration between the agency and the physiotherapy to enable training and rehabilitation at home. The digital rehabilitation support is not just a digital product but is developed as a service where value is created in the collaboration between the patient and the physiotherapy.

    Jakob Backström 
    Värmland traffic

    Through an innovation process, together with Värmlandstrafik, students, parents and bus drivers, the solution and the social platform Bussklubben were developed. A mobile app that constitutes a virtual meeting place that creates a sense of belonging for travelers, provides increased understanding and data to Värmlandstrafik and greater perceived security for parents whose children ride the school bus.

    For his work with DigitalWell Ventures' mentoring program, where he coordinates expertise from universities, business and the public sector and makes it available to the companies within DigitalWell Ventures. .

    On the one hand, they have developed and launched a service that creates better conditions for school counselors to support students who are at risk of being excluded, but through their work they have also contributed back to DigitalWell Arena, and how the initiative can develop its support for entrepreneurs.

    I nominate Mostafa Ismail for this award due to his out of the box thinking and innovative characteristics, as well as his contributions to Zimify in the work of making the lives of students better.

    Thomas Wernerheim, Karlstad municipality

    For his work with Innovationsforum, as a form where entrepreneurs get in touch directly with key people in the business. They have jointly developed, and are constantly developing the concept, and get the public sector and entrepreneurs to contribute to each other.
