Updated Innovation Hub ready for new premiere

The physical meeting has had to take a back seat while the digital one has gained ground during the corona crisis. Meanwhile, the final pieces of the puzzle have fallen into place in the DigitalWell Innovation Hub – an arena for innovation that handles both connected and analog gatherings.

The DigitalWell Innovation Hub is a place where you can break out of your usual ruts and collaborate with others on neutral ground. In the hub, the public sector, academia, civil society, students, entrepreneurs and business will be able to work with innovation across borders to solve societal challenges with the help of digital technology.

    - We offer a physical place for innovation and collaboration, where you should not be afraid to share your ideas. Courage, curiosity and openness are important factors for development and creating innovation, says Marie Granander, process manager for DigitalWell.

The DigitalWell Innovation Hub was already inaugurated in mid-February. After that, a couple of activities managed to be carried out, before the corona crisis put a wet blanket over the possibilities for physical meetings.

During the months of quarantine that have since passed, technical equipment for presentations, live streaming and video conferencing has arrived. So when the Innovation Hub reopens, in a sense, it also invites those who want to participate remotely. There is also a hearing loop as an aid for people with hearing impairments.

Despite the limited possibilities for physical meetings, a number of requests for interest in using the DigitalWell Innovation Hub have already been received.

    - The digital meeting has received a huge push due to the corona crisis. At the same time, there will always be a need for physical meetings - and here we can bring those worlds together, says Marie Granander.

There is no cost to book the venue, which is available for most contexts where the question of how digitization can contribute to increased health is in focus. The hub is designed so that several activities can take place in parallel and accommodates larger groups. This makes it suitable for everything from lectures to training courses and seminars. There is also a stage with seating for around 30 people and a separate room for small group co-creation.
