Digitalwell Arena becomes one of three new partners in Be Digital's expanded investment. The work is focused on digital development of companies in the health sector and the hospitality industry in the Värmland countryside.
The bet on Pray Digital has been running for two years and is aimed at small and medium-sized companies. The successful work has resulted in the Be Digital concept now receiving funds from the Swedish Growth Agency in national competition. The expanded investment is niched towards a partially new target group within the hospitality industry and the health sector.
The purpose of the expanded investment in Be Digital is to create better conditions, competitiveness and sustainability for companies in rural areas through digital business development. Be Digital's methodology includes guidance in the company's entire digital journey, testing of the company's digital maturity, matching with suppliers and partners, inspiration and networks. Through the efforts, the companies must achieve a greater understanding of how digitization is part of the company's entire business development.
Magnus Bårdén, innovation leader and CEO at Compare, sees exciting opportunities when Digitalwell Arena collaborates with Be Digital.
- We hope that through this collaboration we can help companies that work with health services in several ways. On the one hand, digital business development can make it possible to reach more and new users, and on the other hand the investment can create opportunities for completely new services. That combination feels very exciting from Digitalwell Arena's perspective, says Magnus Bårdén, innovation leader and CEO of Compare.
Compare is behind both Be Digital and Digitalwell Arena. In addition to Compare, Almi Värmland and Visit Värmland are partners and co-financiers in the expanded Be Digital investment.
The ambition is to offer between 25 and 50 companies digital advice during the year.
- The consultancy is open to all rural companies in Värmland, except those in Karlstad municipality, but primarily to companies in the hospitality industry and the health sector. We are convinced that companies' ability to take advantage of the opportunities of digitization is central to their survival and development, says Stefan Skoglund, digital business developer at Compare and responsible for Be Digital.
