DigitalWell Arena on site during the Almedal week

DigitalWell Arena is represented by Lina Svensberg, Magnus Bårdén and Jonas Matthing in Almedalen. Take the chance to meet us and discuss how together we can use innovation as a positive force for change - both in Sweden and globally.

Among other things, Lina Svensberg moderates a panel discussion on how the public sector can become an innovation engine in collaboration with business. Ulrika K Jansson, Municipal Director, Karlstad, Inger Ek, Director General, Procurement Authority and Viktoria Hagelstedt, Head of Department Coordination and Data Sharing, DIGG, among others participate in the conversation.

    - It will be a very interesting conversation about what it means for the public sector to drive innovation. We talk a lot about cooperation with business, and Karlstad has received a lot of attention regarding being the first municipality to procure according to the demand acceleration model. But that's only the tip of the iceberg – creating the conditions for the public sector to drive innovation and change is also about how we manage and control public operations and regulatory issues, such as access to data, says Lina Svensberg.

IoT as a driving force for green transition

In two more niche seminars, she also discusses how IoT and digital twins can contribute to the green transformation of cities, as well as how municipal housing companies can use innovation to find new ways to meet their climate goals.

Magnus Bårdén, Lina Svensberg and Jonas Matthing are DigitalWell Arena's lineup during the Almedal Week.

Compare and DigitalWell Arena also participate in two exciting activities in collaboration with iHubs. Among other things, a workshop where Jonas Matthing and Magnus Bårdén explore Sweden's unique opportunities to contribute to a sustainable transition through cross-border collaborations, tech transfer and to take a leading role in system innovation.
