THEME: Children and young people's health
How can digital technology strengthen the health of children and young people? That is the theme when DigitalWell Arena gathers a number of different actors for a conversation on an important topic on November 26. Participate on site at Elite Stadshotell in Karlstad or digitally.
During the conversation, participants from the public sector, business and research share insights, challenges and needs. The aim is to gather experience and inspire new ways of working and methods.
Among others will RF-SISU Värmland to give a picture of how children's and young people's sports have changed over time, and what is required to get more people to start exercising.
Region Värmland talks about the investment "Equal child health", and their methodology to make visible and understand the underlying factors in the development of overweight and obesity among children and young people. We also get to listen to Tillitsbyrån and hurmårdu.nu about their successes, but also needs and opportunities for improvement.
From Karlstad University comes Birgitta Persdotter, lecturer in social work. Among other things, she is active in the research project SAVE, whose aim is to increase knowledge about the type and extent of violence identified in child welfare investigations, assessments of children's needs, children's participation and whether children regardless of age, gender and origin are granted interventions on equal terms .
In addition, three exciting companies tell us how their various digital services can contribute to better health for children and young people:
- Snaptive, whose digital tutoring service meets students on their terms – on their mobile.
- Ineq Solutions, which elevates the work with children's and young people's health from the individual level to the group level to turn the focus from risk factors to protective factors.
- XYZ Education creates opportunities to analyze trends based on data from student health, with simple visualizations of current issues to create increased understanding and new insights.
The meeting is arranged in collaboration between DigitalWell Arena, Region Värmland and Karlstad University. After the program there is an opportunity to mingle and network with speakers and participants on site.
