The "Closer to you" app helps couples improve their communication with the help of artificial intelligence. Now DigitalWell Arena is looking for couples who want to help develop the service for the Nordic market.
"Closer to you" has been developed by the Latvian company Asya. The service is based on AI technology and can assess different emotional states in the communication based on the voices. In other words, how you say something is as important as what you say. The app also provides statistics on how much the parties listen and talk during the conversation.
"Closer to you" also helps with choosing interesting and fun conversation topics to break everyday patterns, and both psychologists and therapists have been involved in developing the material.
The feedback from the conversations provides insights so that you can improve your communication. The progress of the conversation is illustrated in the app by a flower, which grows when the dialogue is good.
Couples with small children are a main target group for the service, as lack of time, fatigue and other challenges in everyday life can easily lead to poorer communication.
DigitalWell Arena is therefore looking for contact with 20 Swedish and Norwegian couples to adapt the service to the Nordic market. To participate, you must live together and have joint children under the age of four.
- The interview is in English and takes about half an hour. (It is enough if one person in the relationship participates.)
- The questions concern, among other things, how long you have been together, what challenges you experience in order for the relationship to work and what conversations make the relationship develop.
- After a month, you can also answer a web survey about how you experience the app, if you want to test the service.
- The interviews and conversations in the app are not recorded and all information about the participants is anonymized.
