The award for Digital Welfare Innovation of the Year has not been awarded due to the corona crisis - but there was certainly no shortage of competent candidates. In this week's TechTalk, you get to listen to the innovators behind the three final entries.
The range of finalists covers innovations that involve the whole of society. From Staplers app for everyday exercise, to BuhoBox tools for safer schooling and RedPill Linpros service that assesses waiting times in care.
In a sense, all innovations are highly topical, also related to the corona crisis. For example, the Waiting times in care service could be given a significantly more operational focus due to the burden on care.
With the business gala 100 Degrees Karlstad being cancelled, the award ceremony has been postponed until this fall, so instead of a winner's story, you get to listen to all the nominees in this week's TechTalk - which we think is at least as fun.

The EU project is behind the Digital Welfare Innovation of the Year award DigitalWell, run by Compare. DigitalWell's aim is to bring together business, the public sector and academia to jointly develop digital tools to solve challenges in welfare. The starting point is to solve actual needs with a focus on the user and his own abilities.

TechTalk Värmland focuses on how we as people, companies and organizations are affected by the ongoing digitization. The purpose of the meetings is to learn from each other, be inspired and develop.
If you want, you can bring your own lunch box and heat it in the Coffice or pick up food from the Nova restaurant on the ground floor. We offer coffee on site. The location is at Compare at Karlstad Innovation Park unless otherwise stated.
