"Prototyping is testing ideas by building simple solutions and thereby learning to understand both the problem and the solution. Prototyping as a method helps you go from good to world class," says Patrick Standfast.
A prototype is often seen as a first copy of a finished solution. The idea of prototyping, however, is to give an idea a concrete form so that we can interact with it, and based on that think about the problem, the user and possible solutions. In addition to the basics for being able to start prototyping yourself, Patrick offers concrete tips for the work.
Patrick Standfast has worked with various forms of idea and business development in industries such as sales, music, communication and games. Today he works as Creative Director at Karlstad Innovation Park and as Project Manager for The Great Journey, Värmland's Game Dev community.
