DigitalWells Innovationssupport has a range of services that can support companies and entrepreneurs in the development of new, digital health services. For Ineq Solutions, the support has provided important knowledge about data security for their tools to create a safe school environment.
DigitalWell's Innovation Support is aimed at companies and entrepreneurs who need help to make their idea a reality, or for a more finished service or product to reach its full potential. The common denominator is that it must be a digital service or product that can contribute to a solution to a challenge in health and welfare.
Ineq Solutions is one of the companies that received the innovation support. The company develops digital tools to create increased security at school and study calm in the classrooms. Their service to catch students who are at risk of being left out has, via Innovationssupporten, been recognized by Nordic Medtest
- Data security and GDPR are very important for our product to be salable and attractive to the customer. It was valuable to get that feedback at an early stage, already in the prototype phase and requirements statement. Things like secure login, authentication and geographic storage were valuable input that allowed us to develop further, say Sofi Finnstam and Sara Lindahl at Ineq Solutions.
Lina Svensberg, process manager in DigitalWell Arena, believes that a concrete effort can in many cases give entrepreneurs the power to continue forward on their own.

Support for new issues
Another company, Stepler, already had a product on the market when they approached DigitalWell. Their app to stimulate increased everyday exercise has already been downloaded by over 10,000 users on Google's play service. In order to further develop the app, the company needs to raise more capital, and via Innovationssupporten they were able to get legal advice before a new share issue.
- Many entrepreneurs facing their first investment get help from the investors in drawing up agreements, then there is a risk that it will be an investor-friendly agreement. With our service, we want to help the entrepreneurs draw up agreements with good terms for them, says Lina Svensberg.
More than ten services
Currently, there are roughly ten services specified in the Innovation support, but the range is constantly growing as new needs are identified. The services are divided according to where in the process you are and cover the entire chain from confirming and developing an early idea to preparing a market introduction or scaling up an existing product or service.
