THEME: Digital competence in healthcare

We are once again gathering across actor boundaries to talk about a current topic. On May 5, we will focus on digital competence in care and social care. Participate on site, at the Elite Stadshotellet Karlstad, or digitally.

During the conversation, participants from the public sector, business and research share insights, challenges and needs. The aim is to gather experience and inspire new ways of working and methods.

There are many paths to digitized care and care that drive innovation, albeit with different results. The focus of this opportunity will be to share experiences and knowledge, so that together we can create good and close care for each individual.

The speakers you will listen to are:

  • Sari Duvander, digitization strategist at Region Värmland, about the direction, connected to digitization, the region is going in the next five years.
  • Karin Ahlin, postdoctoral fellow in informatics at Karlstad University, about the role digital competence has in the digital transformation of healthcare.
  • Ann-Sophie Gustafsson, development manager at Karlstad Municipality, about how the public sector can procure innovation through the demand acceleration methodology.
  • Samuel Wairimu, PhD student in computer science at Karlstad University, about cyber security in healthcare and how to protect patient data.
  • Jon Isaacson, ophthalmologist at Region Värmland, about the development of the innovation "the digital vision board", which could then be spread widely by transfer to a product owner company.
  • Jennie Ståhl, senior consultant in management and governance, on how startups can measure the value their solution contributes to the public sector.
  • Leonardo Iwaya, assistant lecturer in computer science at Karlstad University, about how to build protection of patient data into advanced digital solutions.
  • Maja Magnusson, co-founder of Care to Translate, about the experience of implementing a digital support in Region Värmland.
  • Mari Bank, development manager at Region Värmland, about the introduction of a new care system and the thresholds that needed to be handled.

Moderators do Marie Granander, process manager within DigitalWell Arena, who also talks about the work that is underway to increase digital competence within Sweden's care and care.

The program ends with an exciting panel discussion that offers you wise reflections. After the program there is an opportunity to network on site with both speakers and other participants.
