There is a lot going on in DigitalWell Arena and there are many questions from organizations and individuals in Värmland and Sweden about what we do, how to participate and how to contribute and influence. DigitalWell Meet Up is a series of meetings that respond to that.
DigitalWell Arena invests in digital health innovation so that more people can live a healthier life. Will wants to contribute to solving the complex societal challenges, connected to health, that lie ahead of us. No actors can solve this on their own. Therefore, we need to work together to find the solutions that contribute to a sustainable society and become a leader in digital health innovation. Together!
We want to be open and offer information and knowledge about how DigitalWell Arena as an ecosystem and its operations, projects and activities develop, as well as what results and effects it contributes to.
Since DigitalWell Arena is a common platform, based in Värmland but for Sweden and Europe, we also want to give more people the opportunity to provide input on how DigitalWell Arena should be developed. DigitalWell Meet Up is a forum for all actors to share exciting opportunities that others may be interested in with the aim of stimulating increased actor collaboration between the public sector, business, academia and civil society.
At each meeting, there will be a presentation of the development within DigitalWell Arena, space will be given for the presentation of new opportunities and there will be time for questions. If you have something you want to raise, or something you want us to raise, please get in touch.
The agenda for each occasion is continuously presented on this page. ATTENTION! From February 2023, the meeting will only be held digitally via Teams.
You will find a link to registration at the bottom of the page, after the agenda for the upcoming meeting.
A very warm welcome!
Upcoming meeting: 21 March
This time we learn more about the research being conducted at Karlstad University linked to the so-called Arena project. Six research groups are part of the initiative and Erik Wästlund, coordinator of the Arena project, tells, among other things, how the investment will contribute to increased collaboration both between research groups and external actors.
We also have guests from Karlstad University Johan Quist, CEO of Samhällsnytta AB – a company wholly owned by the university that offers a meeting place and test environment to solve important societal challenges. Samhällsnytta AB has already received several government assignments, for example to increase understanding of addicts' needs and perspectives within drug policy.
Finally, DigitalWell provides Arena's operational and strategic process managers, Marie Granander and Jonas Matthing, a deeper insight into DigitalWell Arena's new organization, which is now sorted into six different business areas.
A very warm welcome!
