Corona laid bare challenges that existed before. Of course, many visitors love the experiences that Värmland already offers, but at the same time there is a need to increase accessibility so that more people can take part in them. It can also be about creating new services or connecting services with a package that makes more noise for more traders.
Together with Compare, Visit Värmland has started a cross-industry collaboration to increase the power of innovation and systematically enable development ideas in the Värmland hospitality industry. Where both a green and a digital transition are central to increasing attractiveness. At the same time, Sweden has adopted the first national strategy for sustainable tourism and a growing hospitality industry, where both innovation and digitization are important building blocks.
