Region Värmland

The region must contribute to safety, welfare and quality of life for everyone in Värmland by promoting good public health and meeting the residents' needs for health care, including dental care.

Why are we involved?

To create an attractive healthcare system in Värmland that contributes to regional growth.

Healthcare's biggest challenge is that the finances are not enough if we work in the same way as today. Even if we had the money, there are not enough employees to recruit, but we need other ways of working where we use digital technology and the individual's own abilities.

Promote innovation opportunities in Värmland.

We want to be involved in creating an equal and accessible health care system where we simultaneously meet the residents' increasing needs and keep the economy in balance.

Cope with society's challenges in healthcare where the focus is shifted from healthcare to health prevention and the individual's own ability to maintain good health with the support of digital tools.

In what way do you want to contribute to creating the digital health services of the future?

We can contribute with a high level of competence in healthcare, service design, innovation and data security. We also have the opportunity to create test beds in real life but also based on a white paper with the user in focus.

What do you consider to be the biggest challenge?

To have courage, to dare and invest in completely new ways of working and digital technology where we let go of part of the traditional culture that exists in healthcare. A major challenge is also to create the conditions for the implementation of new digital services.
