Nordic Medtest AB is Inera's test and development company and works with national IT infrastructure for regions and municipalities. Nordic Medtest can also act within innovation projects and in assignments together with other actors. The focus is on testing and quality assurance when we see that it creates value for Inera's owners and customers, primarily regions and municipalities.
We want to be a catalyst for testing, and enable innovation via various types of tests and testbeds.
The corona pandemic has accelerated needs but also the introduction of new digital services, for example in the contact between residents and healthcare providers. We must maintain the pace and continue development even after the pandemic.
Law and lack of clarity around laws and regulations create obstacles and delays. There is a risk that we use resources and tax funds to develop systems and IT services that already exist, instead of forward-looking and new innovative services.
